Welcome to Spanish 4 Tykes/Tweens , a beginning Spanish class for children (tykes/tweens) ages 2-12 years old and their parents. This class will introduce tykes/tweens to the Spanish language and broaden their Spanish speaking ability.
Our classes can either include the parent or not. As a parent attends the session with their tyke/tween, what is learned during session can be reviewed at home on a daily basis. We provide practical tips for parents to include Spanish in ordinary activities. If a parent does not attend the session with their tyke, information is provided to the tyke to take home so that parents can stay connected and abreast of their tyke's progress.
Each tyke/tween starts at Level 1 and matriculates to each subsequent level.
You'll be amazed by the many ways your tyke/tween will benefit far beyond speaking the new language. Many experts say that early exposure to a foreign language does more than just make our tykes/tweens bilingual. It actually stimulates neurons to form more and more connections, leading to better academic performance and higher test scores, improved English and math scores, a richer vocabulary, and even an increase in SAT scores.
